Privacy Policy

UrsaStack (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information relating to users of the mobile application “Memo Jong” (the “App”) as described in this Privacy Policy.

This Policy distinguishes between information processed only on a user’s device and information transmitted to us or external providers.


1. Information We Access or Collect

1.1 Information Entered by Users

The App stores the following information entered by users on their devices:

This information is not normally transmitted to our servers. If a user creates a backup, exports or shares data, or transfers data using a QR code, however, the information is sent to the storage location or recipient selected by the user.

When entering or sharing information about another person, users should respect that person’s privacy and obtain permission when appropriate. We recommend that users do not enter sensitive information or personal information unnecessary for recording matches.

1.2 Camera and Photos

The App may access the camera or photos selected by the user to read match data from QR codes. At the user’s request, the App can also save generated images to the photo library.

Selected images and camera video are processed on the device only as needed to read QR codes or provide the requested feature. They are not transmitted to us through these features. Access occurs only when permitted by the user through the device.

1.3 Information Transmitted Automatically

To provide features, understand usage, improve quality, deliver advertising, verify purchases, and prevent fraud, the App may automatically transmit the following information to us or external providers:

We do not directly collect credit card or bank account numbers through the App. Payment information is handled by the applicable app store or payment provider under its own terms and privacy policy.

1.4 Support Communications

If a user contacts us, we may collect their name, email address, the content of the inquiry, communication history, and information reasonably necessary to verify identity.


2. Purposes of Use

We use information for the following purposes:

If we change a purpose of use, we will do so only within a scope reasonably related to the original purpose. We will notify users of material changes through the App or this page and obtain consent in advance where required by applicable law.


3. External Providers and Disclosure

We engage or use external providers for analytics, advertising, purchase management, cloud storage, app distribution, payment processing, hosting, and other functions required to operate the App. These providers may process information necessary to fulfill the purposes described above.

When selecting providers, we seek to assess their information-security practices and compliance with applicable law. Each provider’s own terms and privacy policy also apply to its processing.

We do not disclose personal data under our control to a third party without the user’s consent except when:

4. International Processing

Information may be stored or processed outside the user’s country when an external provider’s facilities are located abroad. We seek to ensure appropriate protection through contracts and other reasonable measures in accordance with applicable law.


5. Retention

Information may be retained longer when required by law or reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or protect legal rights.

The App does not provide user accounts managed by us. Requests concerning information held by an external provider may be subject to that provider’s procedures.

To request notice of purpose, access, correction, addition, deletion, restriction, erasure, or cessation of third-party disclosure concerning personal data held by us, contact us using Section 11. We will verify the requester’s identity and respond as required by applicable law.


7. Security

We seek to implement reasonable and appropriate safeguards designed to reduce the risks of unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, or disclosure. These measures include access controls, appropriate provider selection, and management of devices and authentication credentials.

Backups and shared files may contain match data and other user-entered information. Users should check the storage destination and recipients before saving or sharing them.


8. Children

The App is not designed primarily for children. Where the law of the user’s location requires parental consent, the App should be used only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.


9. External Sites and Sharing Destinations

After a user leaves the App for an external site, app store, cloud-storage location, sharing destination, or another app, information is handled under that operator’s terms and privacy policy.


10. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Policy to reflect changes to the App, our data practices, or applicable requirements. For material changes, we will provide notice appropriate to the circumstances through the App or this page. A revised Policy applies from the time it is posted or from a separately stated effective date.


11. Operator and Contact

Depending on the request, we may ask for information or documents reasonably necessary to identify the relevant data and verify identity. If a fee is permitted and charged under applicable law, we will provide notice in advance.


12. External Data Transmissions

The App may transmit user information to facilities or functions provided by the entities below. The information transmitted varies depending on App usage, device, region, permissions, advertising preferences, and purchase status.
